Well, if I can be picky for a moment…
The first amendment (and all the Bill of Rights) was not ratified in 1787. I wish these guys would do their homework. It was introduced in 1789 and ratified in 1791.
Ugh, Eisenhower. The money, the National Day of prayer, the pandering… he’s sort of the founding father of our modern pseudotheocracy.
