Umm… NSFW lyrics.

ROFL!
“Southern Christian Barbershop Quartet”…for real?
No. This is a song from 2003 called “The Hand of the Almighty” by John Butler. I know Hemant had no control, but I hate when people aren’t credited online. With his history, I know that if the information were there, he sure would have posted it.
Derek — You’re right. I didn’t know that info! But I updated the post now. Thanks
I needed a good laugh. Makes the whole thing seem silly when you put it that way.
This song has been used as the intro music to The Atheist Experience a few times.
There is also a YouTube Video that I posted on my blog in February. Darwin’s Dagger: He’ll Fuck You Up
Now that’s satire.
Reminds me of a song my sisters used to sing in our church (www.godsacres.org) when I was little called “God’s Gonna Get You For That!” though without the cursing! Used to bring the congregation to its feet.
Is there an mp3 link for this?
I bet if I sent that to my wife’s fundy family, they’d love it (especially her brother). Poe’s law applies….
There use to be a really awesome video of this where the quartet was a cartoon and they exchanged some words at the end, really funny.
What happened to it?
This is the musician’s official website: http://johnrbutler.com/
You can listen to more of his music and order a CD here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/johnrbutler
I’ve listened to sound clips of most of the songs on “Surprise” and I’m impressed?the other songs are really funny, too!
By the way, his name is John *R.* Butler. There is another, better-known musician from Australia named John Butler (of the John Butler Trio), which is why it is important to remember his middle initial.
