If you browse through the articles on the site, you can read brief descriptions of various mythical creatures/people. The site just tells it like it is.
Only one entry, though, gets its own disclaimer:

No attempt will be made to discuss the values and strengths of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the three great religions that hold God as their core. As Nadine writes in an email: “Poor Encyclopedia Mythica! I’m sure they had a million e-mails contending the inclusion of Yahweh in a myth reference.”
(On a side note, Jesus Christ and Allah get no such disclaimer.)

Myths, of course, can be true.
Sure, but it’s not the purpose of an Encyclopedia of myth to say what is and isn’t, but apparently some people think it should be, which leads to silly disclaimers like this. It’s just funny that none of the other entries have to have disclaimers.
The Yahweh Disclaimer
It sounds like the title of a Dan Brown book.

You believe what C. S. Lewis says? Myth became fact? If so, how do myths become true? Usually it’s the other way around, if there is any fact at all and then the fact gets so buried in myth we can’t find any fact anymore.
I’ve never read any Lewis, sorry. Pretty much any intro text books on mythology will tell you the same, though.
