Alan Moore Talks About Godless Event

This is what I get for not living in Britain.

I miss Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People:

And that means I miss graphic novelist (and the genius behind Watchmen) Alan Moore:

On the up side, New Humanist Magazine is uploading a number of interviews with guests of the show on YouTube. Check them out!

(Someone bring a traveling version of the show to America, please.)

I honestly don’t know which would be more disappointing: finding out that Alan Moore really believes that shit, or finding out that he doesn’t.

Optimus, can you translate for me? The accent threw me for a loop. What did he say he believed in?

Per Alan Moore’s entry on Wikipedia…

He is a vegetarian, a practicing magician, he worships a Roman snake-deity named Glycon, which he acknowledges to be a “complete hoax”,[19] and calls himself an anarchist.[20]

    I hope you aren’t disappointed, Optimus. ;)

Alan Moore IS Brilliant. The Watchmen, V for Vendetta, From Hell, etc. He is just Amazing. Also, I agree, it would be nice to something like that event, in the United States.

On the plus side, you also miss Alan Moore singing.
