I’ll be giving a talk at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh next week!
What better way to spend Good Friday than with the atheists?
Here’s the info:
Date: Friday, April 10
School: Carnegie Mellon University
Sponsoring group: Carnegie Mellon AHA: Atheists, Humanists & Agnostics
Time/place: 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in UC McConomy (Reception in UC Dowd)
Facebook Event page!
If you come, I’ll give you a piece of gum and possibly my second-born child.
Hell, there’s free pasta. Now you have no excuse.

But… they’re having a brew master at the Warhol Museum. Beer tasting!
You have given me a dilemma, sir, and I do not care for it.
I live in Pittsburgh *and* I love pasta!! It must be a sign!
I have a good excuse… I will be at the American Atheists convention in Atlanta.
This feels like Atheist Intervention, what me having just mentioned that I am a CMU student on your blog, and now you coming out to give a talk.
Though, perhaps if I had been more attentive and took the time to participate in AHA, I would not only know about this but would probably have been helping to plan it.
I will be there!
I know what you mean, I also just commented in the lurkers come out post, and I’m a Pitt student. We also have the beginnings of an atheist group at Pitt that started going on in the last two weeks, so it’s well timed for us, too.

NOM NOM NOM NOM…
Oooo, there’s pasta and gum, too?
What? Your first-born has already been promised?
