How wonderful is that — they’ll be rebuilding homes in New Orleans with other atheists and Christians. Can’t get more cooperative than that. I mentioned last year that the Atheists, Agnostics, & Freethinkers from the University of Illinois went on a similar trip (and they’ll be doing it again this year, joining up with Ashley’s group).
If you can help offset some of their building costs, you can contact Ashley directly. Any donations are obviously going to a worthy cause.
The “best damned group on campus” is an especially relevant pun, because the OSU marching band is often referred to as TBDBIDL – The Best Damned Band in the Land.

Good thing they’re doing this with a Christian group. Because if an atheist does good deeds and it’s not seen by a Christian, it’s like that tree that falls in the forest. It didn’t happen.

How awesome that these people (no matter what their beliefs) are using their spring break in community service! Fantastic! Why didn’t I do that when I was in college?!?! (Oh, yeah, I had a job!)
Kudos to them for doing it, AND for organizing it, because without that organizing, it just doesn’t happen.
Surely the WiFi signal in a church would be great? Or am I thinking of prayer. Never mind.
