Last week, I spoke to the Secular Students Association at Elmhurst College in Illinois. Before the evening ended, we took the obligatory amusing group photo. This one includes students of a few other faiths, too, but they had a great sense of humor about it:

Do any other student groups take semi-sacrilegious photos?
If you have any good ones, please send them to me at
!
(Thanks to Afiya for the pic!)

I guess the the green-shirt to the right on the front row is a member of the Threatening Fist Faith.
I’m the girl sitting next to the girl in the green..and she’s actually a Christian who is pretending to be mad at us for mocking her prayer.
Good times- thanks for coming to Elmhurst Hemant!
Should have done it at a table to recreate the Last Supper.
There exist multiple pictures of me and my friends recreating the Pieta (I guess I didn’t have enough friends for a Last Supper).
I like the two in the lower-left corner who appear to be members of the Undying Church of Stan & Kyle.
Clearly, it’s cold in that room and you’re all rubbing your hands together for warmth. Also, there’s something interesting written on the ceiling that you’re all looking at.
I can’t decide whether it’s ironic or apropos that atheists are more likely to be able to spell “sacrilegious” correctly…
