Ok lets stop having sex and start reading the bible! Ok, where do I start. Oh the New testament… its better than the Old testament because its newer…. right?

so, Abraham begat Isaac, Isaac begat Jacob, and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;and Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

All this begatting is making me thirsty. I think I’ll order a tab.

Hmmm…I am puzzled by their reactions. When I was a devout mormon, I always read the scriptures once a day…usually more. I think a large number of them do. Mormons are challenged with a lot more than a little reading assignment each day…but daily scripture reading is a very common challenge. Not even a challenge…expected might be closer.

So there ya go Dallas christians…a little motivation. You aren’t going to let a bunch of blasphemous mormons out-pious you are you? lol.

Well, gee, I think it’s all foolishness, anyway; but if Patty Turnbull is so busy that she literally has no time for a few verses every day for a mere week, she definitely needs a change of lifestyle. Besides, is the pastor trying to mandate his plan? I don’t see that he is.

What strikes me hardest about this item, though, is how resistant some Christians are to the idea of reading their Bibles. But we’ve always said that we atheists read the dang thing more than most Christians do.
