Catherine...You have to suspend contact with reality...maybe let your eyes unfocus...accept the totality of the flower and without looking for it the image of Ganesh will surely favor you with an appearance...Makes as much sense as any religious mumbo/jumbo.....

Our ability to imagine never runs out of creativity.........maybe we should let it take over the world just to see what would happen. Or maybe not. Sapere Aude, which means "Dare To Know". Woo Hoo

Clearly that is not Ganesh it is the flying Spaghetti Monster!

This fellow was clearly touched by His Noodly Appendage without even knowing it, and he is giving the credit to some made-up God!

There is no way this is the Hindu Lord Ganesh.

It's clearly an incarnation of Dumbo. All hail the mighty flying elephant!

I am happy for the guy since his bone spur healed. I guess it's not any more crazy than looking at the stars and seeing a bull (Taurus Constellation) or a lion (Leo). I do see how part of the flower could resemble an elephant's trunk. But as for a flower being an incarnation of a deity - well that's pretty far out there.

I have presented this sort of argument to my parental type die-hards before. In return, I got a 2-hour speech about satan's alluring trick of "false gods and false miracles."
