Hemant, you gotta take advantage of all 3 types of feed you have available to you. You have the default RSS feed, an atom alternative, and the feedburne version. Let people subscribe to one while another is on the fritz. List them.

And it not works in Firefox also. At least in the most recent version of OSX Firefox.
