Congratulations to Dale McGowan!

Dale McGowan, the author of Parenting Beyond Belief and the upcoming Raising Freethinkers is the recipient of the 2008 “Harvard Humanist of the Year” award!

Dale does himself a disservice, though, by mentioning his name with another relative unknown

The “Sarah Palin of Humanism”?… hmm. That sounds like an insult. Here’s a much more appropriate use of the phrase: Ray Comfort is the Sarah Palin of Humanism. Yes. I like that.

Congratulations to Dale, someone truly deserving of the award. If you’re in Boston on Saturday, December 6th, you will want to attend his lecture on secular parenting at Harvard!

Apparently Dale McGowan is telling us he’s a serial liar.

I saw Dale speak at the North Texas Church of Freethought and he was a great speaker. While I don’t have children, the ideas he had are similar to how I would like to think I would raise children, although he’s put a lot of thought and practice into it. I highly recommend him as a speaker.

Yes I am, and that’s the truth.

Thanks to Sarah Palin, everyone is now qualified for everything. Hemant for Pope!
