Personally I am going to steer of the blogs of the likes of Ray Comfort, because he uses it to write more crap and fool more people in that ministry of his. I think he is a nasty dishonest person

Well, I happen to believe that phallus worship proves Greek mythology. Maybe Ray’s preoccupation with bananas proves Christianity?

What puzzles me is – why do I hear about Ray Comfort and his ah, less than convincing arguments so often?
Where are the brilliant biblical scholars with powerful, logical arguments to sway the most hard-headed of us atheists?

Those powerful, logical arguments don’t exist. I apologize if you already knew that, I’m just checking.

I used to get upset when he misrepresented the truth, outright lied, or just showed amazingly willful ignorance. Now I realize how damning it is to his cause. I hope he stays in the public eye for years to come.

It was interesting to see a couple of comments on Mr. Comfort’s “Atheist Central” blog from Christians who accept evolution and see no conflict with the Bible. The trouble is, if Genesis is “just an allegory” then which parts of the bible should be taken literally?
It boggles my mind that so many folks use 2000 year-old superstitions and prejudices to help form their worldview. It’s like travelling by horse and buggy when there’s a porsche available.
