Philadelphia Anti-Superstition Party This Friday

If you happen to be in the Philadelphia area next Friday (the 13th!), you may want to stop by the Freethought Society of Greater Philadelphia’s 2008 Anti-Superstition party!

Here’s the info:

It’s James Randi! How could you miss this? Hell, if you live on the West Coast, just buy a plane ticket and head to Philly this weekend.

Hey, that’s on my birthday. :) But I can’t afford a trip from Oklahoma to Philly.

I had to look up “friggatriskaidekaphobia”. I wasn’t even aware there was a word for that. But I will now take great pains to find ways to use it in casual conversation.

That does sound like fun! I wish I could make it.

My school bus driver back in the 1970s when I was a kid use to hand out candy on Friday the 13th and wish us a happy triskadekaphobia day.
