How Did They Manage To Get That Star?

Here’s Roger Moore’s smackdown of Expelled.

Knowing Mark Mathis and his ilk, though, the producers will probably combine four of these reviews and say the movie received four stars.

“Expelled” relies on the viewer’s inability or unwillingness to wrestle with a complex corner of science, double-talking its way toward a “must be a miracle” solution to anything that science may not claim to have an answer for. Dismiss that for having no basis in fact, and you’re infringing on “academic freedom.”

That’s not it at all, Ben. And really, when academia, the courts, the opinions of the educated have all weighed in on this subject on that “other side,” who’s the real monkey in this “debate”?

And in case you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the Richard Dawkins Foundation parody of the movie:

If nothing else, watch it for Dawkins’ line at the very end of the video :)

I thought the video was pretty funny. I kind of want to see Expelled, but I don’t want to give them any money and I don’t want to spend more to buy truth tickets” You should try to link Expelled to Expelled Exposed

Okay, when’s ERV going to freak out about “PLAGERISM, PLAGERISM OMFG OMNOMNOMNOM !!!!!1!???!@?@”

Because the animation from Sexpelled seems to be owned by a little company based in Burbank.

My local NPR film critic just called Expelled “full of nonsense” and gave it a terrible review. I’m predicting it will bomb.

I love Sexpelled. The best part is the silly Dawkins line which is cut about five times with him in completely different poses. ;-)

Ah Ha! Proof that Dawkins is a Sex Maniac! Hilarious parody, maybe I’ll force myself to sit through Expelled after all.

Hey, when they interviewed me for this video, they told me it would be a porn movie called crossroads!

My favorite blurb about Expelled so far:

Oddly enough, the tactics employed in “Expelled” undercut the movie’s argument, most notably in the interviews with Dawkins and Myers and in Stein’s trip to Darwin’s British home (now a museum). Either the filmmakers suckered these participants under false pretenses, or the evolutionists are more open to debate than Stein suggests.
