In case you didn’t want to read the few paragraphs of PZ Myers’ story, you can see him discuss the incident with Richard Dawkins:

It isn’t so much don’t want to read as can’t read. My browser closes within seconds of loading PZ’s blog.

BZ…are you on a college campus…the one down the street from me (a public community college) has a filtering system on there computers that will close the browser window when going to PZ’s blog…just like it makes playboy.com close (which I can understand)…and the Secular Student Alliance website…and about 3 dozen other atheist/humanist/secular sites… I have complained about it, but nothing has happened.

This is priceless. Just leave creationists to their own devices and they will do more damage to themselves than anyone else could.

Interesting the amount of duplicity and downrightblatant lies they will use to further their cause. But then religion has a long pedigree in that regard.

I’m amazed by how much high-profile publicity this incident has generated. It’s been written up by both Salon and the New York Times, with both articles highlighting the irony of expelling someone from “Expelled” (let alone someone actually IN the movie) and the ineptitude of expelling Myers and not recognizing arguably the world’s most famous atheist, Dawkins.
