These are fun. Note – the advertising on the linked site may be NSFW for some.

The funny thing is, I seem to remember having a book similar to the one above when I was a kid. Had the same old look about it too, because it was my mother’s when she was a girl.

I like the concept, but it’s not well executed. Whoever made this should have stuck with a sans-seriff font rather than switch like that.

He or she should have also stuck with the caps theme in the lettering.

    Oh, well. It’s still funny!

In a similar vein, I always got a kick out of this:

Here in Germany we have such a book. It’s called Wo bitte geht’s zu Gott?, fragte das kleine Ferkel. (’How to get to god?’, the little piglet asked.)

Our “Familienministerium” (Federal Ministry for Family Affairs) is currently trying to place it on the Index. There is also a website trying to stop this attempt of cencorship: Rettet das kleine Ferkel!

I’m pretty sure I had that book as well, a hand-me-down from a relative. At the time I didn’t understand why my mum and stepdad took the piss out of it. But I do now.
