Yeah, there’s two words that shouldn’t go together:

Christian Spock.

“Christian Spock, what do you make of the readings?”
“Well, Christian Kirk, there seems to be a green-skinned belly-dancer a quarter-kilometer away.”
“AHHH! Let’s go there and perhaps she and I can read Bible verses together.”

This actually has the potential to be a hilarious parody!

I have just witnessed the power faith has to create, out of nothing, sketches filled with awkward stabs at humor, as though the sketch’s creators had heard of a thing called “comedy” and attempted to divine its meaning and application through careful study of scripture.

In particular, I enjoy the laugh track that plays whenever the atheists reject the, ah, Godly truth.

Since when did Carl Sagan become a Mexican with a moustache? Also, why is believing we came from a rock more ridiculous than coming from dust (as Genesis says). Actually though, to state the scientific theory of evolution claims life came from a rock is a straw-man.

Egads, that sucks! All too reminiscent of the “drama ministry” at my old church that put on badly written, badly lighted, unfunny and poorly acted shows as part of our outreach effort. It’s hard to believe anyone was attracted to the church by that dreck, or this stupidity.
