I always thought that would be nice, but you are right, it will never be written. IF it were though, Sweet Reason would be in it.
Gotta have Sweet Reason in something like that. 
Erm… Wouldn’t the “Coming Home for Christmas” article qualify for this sort of book? While you may not believe in a literal “soul,” a little emotional catharsis is healthy for everyone, regardless of their beliefs. At least that was my understanding of the purpose behind the “Chicken Noodle Soup” series…

We had this discussion on Skepchick at some point …. it was mentioned that Chicken Soup for the Foo Soul was probably trademarked, so “Chicken Soup for the Atheist’s Strange Loop” would be more apropos
If it followed the Chicken Soup for the Soul pattern, it would have stories about teens who die of leukemia and make some faux-profound observation about life just before they croak. Only, unlike every single other Chicken Soup book, these faux-profound observations wouldn’t unfailingly mention God and how obvious his hand in the workings of the world is.
I guess what I’m getting at here is the Chicken Soup for the Soul books are frikken terrible.
I keep waiting for the book, “Chicken…err, Vegetable Soup for the Vegetarian Soul”

I’m a vegetarian, but I can accept the title of Chicken soup. It’s just figurative and we vegetarians can imagine it’s vegetable soup.
I had this idea while in the middle of a ‘chicken soup’ conversation with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago. The conversation itself led to at least a dozen good ‘chicken soup’ parody titles that I intent to create soon, but I was googling this particular title and came across your blog article here.
