if you really think christians are foolish, you are just making yourself foolish. anyways, have ANY of you been to this website:
aybqa.com (all your bible questions answered) check it out and see for your self and tell me christians are foolish. a leap of faith is not equivalent to foolishness. you cant deprove God’s existence, as same as you can’t deprove His nonexistence. simply you think God is this way…whatever you think :”he’s suppose to do”. let me remind you, He is GOD, you’re NOT. He works in different ways that we sometimes don’t even understand, even if you don’t even see it. how would you know what He “suppose” to do anyways? you can’t deprove His existence that way. Does anyone think that possibly alot of these televangelists (like Comfort, Oral Roberts, etc…) are actually atheists willing to deceive gullible Christians for their money? Maybe this is far-fetched, but L. Ron Hubbard perpetrated this type of scam with Scientology.

No doubt about it. They’re usually easy to spot if you know what to look for. Some of them (like many a politician) start out sincere, and slowly get seduced by the usual culprits–sex, drugs/booze, lavish lifestyle–and some of them stop believing, yet, because they know nothing else and they’re already invested in the ministry, they just keep on doing it because it’s easier than doing something else, or for the money, or who knows. They all rationalize it in some way I suppose.

Does anyone else see the strong homoerotic overtones in Ray’s banana evangelism?

I get all tingly inside when he mimes the monkey eating the banana…and then I go drink a bucket of lye to get rid of it…and then I try to siphon out the stupid.

This is injuring my brain. I need a siphon to get the stupid out of it.

With Ray Comfort on his side, Jesus ain’t got a chance in hell.

Oh I do enjoy when people say something like “Since science cant be trusted, trust God.” To me, that translates directly to “Ok, since science is self-correcting, let’s think of something that’s arbitrarily not and believe in that.” Talk about logical hopes… sheesh…

If he thinks Christians are never disappointed, disillusioned, or discouraged in God, he’s seriously out of touch with human reality. Believers — even passionate true believers — can and do have their faith seriously shaken.

Okay. Let me get this straight.

Scientific thought changes in the face of reality.

Religious belief stays the same (it doesn’t, but that’s not important right now) regardless of reality.
