Is landover Baptist a real church? Is pastor fred a real person or Is this actually just a joke, and if it is has he ever broken character? Did he acctually say that threatening murder is a ligit way to convret an atheist? Do any fellow baptist (assuming this is not a joke) take offense to him? I understand the concept of taking things on Faith, but does that mean you have to be manipulated by a bastard who charges money for a serman, or you will go to hell? wouldnt this be in conflict with the jeasus and the money changers story, (I am just curious I dont want to challenge the voice of god...lol) as their is money being exchanged on the steps of a temple?? i dunno i am just asking?? He has to be a joke right? (a bad on at that) Does he remind any one of that song discutipated, except x10? and if he is going to heaven, is that where I would actually want to go after I die? It's hard when you have to deal with a fundy family that likes to pin you to the wall, get up in your face, and practically demand you recited the Apostle's Creed and then say you believe it, even when you don't. I sometimes think the religious abuse and intolerance won't end until they die. :( I don't want it to be like that, but it is what I'm starting to think. I have to agree with Karen.
