One More Survey

Here’s another survey courtesy of the social bookmarking site Digg (See question number 9).

That poll has atheists at 43.2% of the responders.

(And who knew there were more Pastafarians than there were Jews?!)

It’s still not scientific, but it’s probably more reliable than the Larry King Live poll.

And if it’s even remotely accurate, it explains a lot about who visits those bookmarking sites and why certain links get voted to the Digg front page (as well as its competitor Reddit).

Once again the question, “What’s your religion?” forces responders to imply that atheism is a religion. This kind of thick-skulled insensitivity is getting annoying. Without any way of qualifying my answer I’m not going to bother with these stupid surveys.

30% prefer OSX. Not bad. :)

The results of the amount of conspiracy theory believers in question #5 is scary.

2 Peter 3:2-7 predicted this exact thing in the Bible. Don’t forget the wisdom from 2 Timothy 3 that predicted these days we are in now. How great is God’s word to give us sight into the future. Glorious words to know our Lord, what a great gift it truly was. Repent and Trust your life with Jesus before that day of Judgement.

I don’t remeber peter saying anything about surveymonkey, but back when I read the bible the internets weren’t around so maybe I just ignored it.

Hmm, according to Jesus, that time must have already happened within the lifetime of some of the apostles.
    Mark 9:1
1And he said to them, “I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.”

    Dan,

Please seek help. Seriously. People you know have already probably told you you are a taking the religion thing too far. Please add our voices to theirs and SEEK HELP. Really, seriously. You are taking it way too far. You can still believe in Jesus and God, but really, you’re going too far.

With such a serious case of Bible Babble, guess where he’ll seek help?

    Dan,
How can you distinguish between the last days where mockers shall come with mockery and all the other days filled with mockers and mockery?

Also, I’ve never been able to “creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins”. Any of the rest of you? No? Well I guess it’s not end times yet, Dan, so relax and have a nice day.

Only when roleplaying with my wife . . . it is almost as good at playing the pizza delivery guy.

    mmmm, sinful women, mmmmm

As Dan has been informed on another blog; and by a self-identified “theologically conservative” seminary student no less! :)

Anyway, I think these surveys are as pointless as playing video games…and a lot less fun.

How about another poll on the subject? The Globe and Mail asks the question, “Have you experienced a crisis in faith?” Results, links and commentary.

I’m just wondering what a “Pastafarian” is? Is this an Italian version of the Marley faith? Does this have something to do with smoking pasta?

Perhaps Dan should aim his guns in that direction?

It’s all due to the Flying Spaghetti Monster (blessed be His name).

    rAmen.

Good thing you posted this Hemant. Randy was unaware of the FSM and now knows the truth and will surely be saved. His noodles do work in mysterious ways.
