First Freedom First Video

First Freedom First has a trailer video about “safeguarding separation of church and state” and “protecting religious liberty.” It’s been around for a little while, but I had never seen it until now and it’s as good a time as ever to watch it.

Yes, it gets hokey at times, but it’s effective. And the issues raised are incredibly important.

The video was written and directed by Adam Klugman of the Progressive Media Agency.

I agree. That’s why I added to my blog too. :D So many people seem to have hang up, including my mother, about not going to church and worshipping. I have the right NOT to worship and in the last several years, I have claimed that right. If I don’t believe that the Bible it is the word of God and if I don’t agree with it, then why bother going to church? My mother now is saying I am neglecting and disobeying the forth commandment. I’d love to say, “Hey, I’m observing it. I’m taking a day of rest and sometimes go out to sun worship.” She wouldn’t get though nor would she get past the first page of Acharya’s book either to get the joke.

Oh and thanks Hemant for announcing my blog too. :D You can link to it if you like, but I don’t know how you’d classify it exactly- Humanist or whatever, but it could fit under atheism too, because what I have so far is pro-religion that is for sure.

that is NOT pro-Christian. I left out the word not. :( I can’t type tonight.

I think. I think. I think. That this video. This film. This video. This movie clip. Has some very good points. Makes light of some important issues. (Insert and Atheist) Does NOT make a good point. Makes a good point. But does so. But it does it. But. It. Does. So. In a very choppy. Very unstructured. (Insert an Atheist) Very fluid. Very blocky. Sort of way that makes it too long. Too lengthy. Too long. Not short enough.

I felt like I was having a seizure while conversing with twelve people in camp tee-shirts, but it made some good points.

I think that this video is nonsense. It’s a smokescreen for more a incidious agenda.

First of all, no one is asking people not to worship, go to church or believe, privately, whatever they choose to. There’s no one picketing chuches asking them to be closed down.

On the topic of death with dignity it isn’t politicians, directly, that are against it – it’s the Christians! They want to let you suffer until God takes you “in his own time”. And they lobby hard to squash any law to the contrary.

Here in Canada, it’s public knowledge that the pro-euthenasia camp is the insurance industry. They don’t want to pay for you to mallinger around for possibly years on life support.

So, what are they asking in this video? If you’ve been following this issue at all you’ll know that it’s about the Freedom to Discriminate and the Freedom to spread Hatred and Lies against Identifiably Groups – Gays, Abotion Providers/Clients and anyone else they deem to be God’s Enemies. And there’s nothing “private” about their vocal hatred of these people.

This why hate laws are needed. Don’t think so? Try switching the variables and see if it still seems logical to you.

Do you support the freedom of speach of Aryan Nation nonsense? Should the Bible’s pro-slavery doctrines be allowed to be preached on street corners or maybe across the street from a MLK rally? And if so, why not?

ps, you can’t use the, “because slavery is wrong” argument because this is about preaching the Bible, not what you, as a mere sinner, think about anything.

And that’s the rub isn’t it? Who are YOU to tell God that homosexuality is okay?

Folks, this is what they say, and it’s what the real issue is; leave us alone to believe our God, who hates fags, and to “go forth and spead the word” about this issue, that they attribute society’s decline to.

First Freedom First is a smokescreen hate group as much as the KKK or their ilk.

I say, shut the hell up with all the hate speach. The Bible say to worship in private – so DO IT! Video’s like this one are the opposite of private.

    Just something to think about.

    Dar
