May I ask who you voted for? I voted for Bell though I wasn’t completely against Kinky or CKS. I just think Bell was the most professional and would fix schools, taxes, and stop the Texas Trans Corridor project. My father in law voted for CKS and I’m going to ask him why. We have great discussions as he’s very informed and is finally sick of the Repubs. He’s of the mindset Dems love to tax to death so that’s why he’s a Repub.

Governor. Rick Perry, after a God and country sermon attended by dozens of political candidates Sunday, said that he agreed with the minister that non-Christians will be condemned to hell. “In my faith, that’s what it says, and I’m a believer of that,” the governor said. This is the kind of statement that wins you voters in Texas.

I voted for Ellison – he won in our district by a landslide. There was some controversey over him being aquainted with Louis Farrakhon (Leader of the National of Islam) – I guess they met at the University of Minnesota – but it didn’t seem to hurt him too much. In fact, being Muslim seemed to protect him to a certain extent, that was often the topic of discussion about him in the local media as they ignored or just skimmed over his “checkered past” – which I think is just a bunch of unpaid parking tickets.

Ben Franks will lose. Right now with 92% of the vote in he has 60567 votes and Bailey Moseley has 86766. Not bad.
